I am looking for an inwall AM/FM radio. Customer is looking to save money over the Speaker Craft/Proficient AM/FM/CD. Anything out there?

Send them a Nutone brochure with your worst competitors name on it.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Used the Musica System once and used the built in FM tuner. Need to run a antenna lead off of it but it works. Kind of basic but if he wants to go cheap...

How much cheaper than the Speakercraft/Proficient can you get? You could always cut a hole in the wall, but in a portable radio hooked to a couple of computer speakers.
Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Unforunately, the only thing cheaper than the 'Craft box, is a higher up Nutone or M&S intercom...

The post that recommended giving this to your competitor isn't that much of a joke. There really isn't a high quality intercom unit with a radio, and they do fail... a lot.

That WAS help. About the best help you will be able to get with that subject.

This is the moment for the speech: "It sounds like a good idea now, but I have seen a couple hundred of these in homes, and nobody used them for more than a couple of weeks. The ones that you can find are of marginal quality. The only questions I get about them is how to use the intercom part of them."
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
