HowUdoin...HowUdoin...HowUdoin.

Did you see this past Sundays episode of "The Sopranos"? Now, I don't wanna step of anybody's toes or anything, with fear of getting whacked...but I would have done a better job with the home theater. For those of you who didn't see the show, Tony bought a home theater for his house, the installer is showing Tony the remote (looks like a Crestron), and their looking at a front projection, speakers, Bass industries seats and pop corn machine, blah blah blah. Anyway, the installer tells Tony "look how easy it is to change sources". He goes from what looks like vcr to cd, cd plays Eric Clapton and the installer says "listen to that imaging."; Tony replies "sounds like he's right there" pointing to the center of the room. The thing that caught my eye was that fact that when the source changed from vcr to cd, the screen went blue. Now, let me state that I have worked with movie producers before, and they like most consumers have no clue...see "White Boys" (don't ask) and look for krell and klipsch...YEAH, I know they are complete opposites, but again this is what the producer wanted. Anyways, I'm not saying the installer was told to leave a blue screen up. I would have turned off the projector, not only to rid the blue screen, but also save the short life of the $$$ bulb. This small note becomes quite LARGE when later in the episode, Tony is sleeping in this room, listening to Eric, WITH A BLUE FREAKIN' SCREEN!!! If Tony were my customer I would have changed that. Nuff said, now gethafugouttaheee.

It was a Crestron ST-1700 or STX-1700 touch panel.

I thought it might have been a rear projection setup...judging from the way they were standing right in front of the screen casting no shadows.
