I have a job where i need 6 pairs of outdoor inwall speakers. They will be used in NYC on a brown stone build into the brick. Any one have any suggestions??

Sonance Extremes? I use them for in-ceiling. For inwall, I'd look to use a box speaker and just do a custom grill - I'm not sure even the Sonance extremes have the right drainage for wall mounting (although they have a rectangular version I've used in bathrooms, completely outdoors in a freezing climate is a different story.)

the problem is ther os no room to fit a fake speaker then a grill. Its a brown stone and the contractor said not happening.... Sonance extreems are what i was going to use till i called up sonance and theyu said not to use them as they are not ment for that application, which is what i thought they where.... They re ment for sun rooms or bathrooms. Not all year outdoor weather

Try Community or Terras.
Enclosed speakers, but set them deep inside the mortar, and leave large slits in the brick face.

Try Jamo. I've seen some in their new product info that came through the other week.
I thought it looked good, and unusual.

Sticking to what I'm good at. |

[Link: rockusticsinc.com]Rockustics will do custom orders, send them a photo of the wall you are putting them in along with a sample of the stone and they will custom make the speaker to match the color, texture and size of the stone, so if you have a Brownstone and the stones are lets say 8x16 they can make you a speaker that will be 8x16 and will fit in just as if it was one of the stones on the exterior of the building. We do this all the time as stone is pretty common out here on houses.

Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"... |

Tritto Rockustics. Forgot about them, they're good at this stuff.
