I have installed a Philips Miravision (Mirror TV) in my home. It arrived configured for commercial use, and as a result, many menu functions are inaccessible, including important things like signal source, picture settings, channel setup -- basically everything a hotel doesn't want their guests playing with. A service technician was able to access the menus using his commercial remote, so I can now view the full range of channels. But he was not able to determine how to change it to "consumer" mode so I would be able to access all menus with my consumer remote. Can anyone offer any suggestions? In the worst case, will I need to find a commercial remote somewhere, or at least the codes? Philips doesn't seem to have an answer on this yet since the product is very new in the US.

Unfortunately you have stumbled across the big ugly secret (its not really a secret) that Philips doesn’t want any one to know. THEY HAVE NO TECH SUPPORT! I suspect that even after they have had the product for some time you still wont get support, due to its complexity. Almost all of Philips tech support is for low-level easy stuff. If you trouble shoot the problem and are still not able to get real results you best bet is to get on the phone in the middle of the night and try to get support to give you a contact number of the main office in Denmark, or where ever Philips is (I can't remember). I was forced to do this in the early days of the Ipronto I spoke directly to the engineer with some moderate success. Good luck.

Thanks Pete. I'll give them a few weeks and then try again. If that doesn't work, I'll try to track down someone in The Netherlands. Appreciate the advice.
