Hey guys, I just received an email from my URC sales rep explaining why the last 15 MRF-250 bases we've used are bad... Apparently they found a glitch in the circut design of the base. Units with serial numbers 064996 through 076994 will be replaced with MRF-300's until they can get any of the new 250's in stock...
If you have bought any bases from 12/20 to 1/31 call your sales rep and get the details from him (dont want to put that kind of information on here)

Mike,
do you buy directly, or more to the point, not through distribution? That would explain a sales rep. comet implies, and is probably correct, that his distributor did not contact him, although today's computer programs would make it easy for them to bring up a list of who bought this product within the last so many weeks to give them a phone call.

It would be important for us who buy these products to know how long ago they found out about it! Just what kinds of pains did they go through to keep our faith? Apparently they did not ask their distributors to contact customers!
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I was at training on Monday, and they said it was a chip that was installed backwards.
