Hi all! I am a custom installer, and I am new to CI Lounge (love the site BTW). Just wondering if most of you test your wire runs after you finish the pre-wire phase? If so, what methods are you using? Thanks!

It depends on the job. Most of the time no, but we are VERY careful and go in AFTER all other trades. If it is a large job, we will use a Validator at rough and trim. A medium house we might use a Resi-Tester. Most of the time we just test at trim though. Never really had a problem.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong. |
