I'm contemplating a move to California and was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what the typical wages for a programmer are out there?

I'm sorry, did I wander into the TV Programmers Lounge by accident?
Oh wait...no...I'm still in the Custom Installer's lounge.
But since you ask I can program universal remotes like rti's and prontos. I can program via's. I'm a novice crestron programmer. I can program lighting control. I have written some rs232 code. I can program Avaya and Panasonic phone systems. I have graphic design skills. I write instructions for my clients. I can put together a home network, both wired and wireless. I'm an MCP as well as Net+ certified. I'm getting into IP A/V networks like the one Cybermanor did. As an extension, I'm learning html.
Did that answer your question?
Now tell me a little more about that TV schedule programming...
