Oh! Thanks for showing us the site. I just sent
off a few emails to Fujitsu and a few reps with
the link.

Your welcome !

Dave

Nice, Dave! The storefronts and strugging independents of the world thank you!

I have only two comments on this issue, having read thru this thread completely.

The first regards the CEDIA showcase and it's classes:
From my experience, the "classes" are nearly totally sales oriented and really accomplish little in the way of a quality installation. ( God forbid you pose a question to the presentors that reflects potential interface difficulty) (I was actually asked to leave a seminar for raising such "caine" at a CEDIA event) (I'll leave the manufacturer out of this particular ordeal) The seminars at CEDIA tend to teach how to sell the product, and not so much as to teach you to make the product work as intended. Afterall, for many manufacturers, the bottom line is $$$$, not quality.

Attendance at CEDIA conventions in no way qualifies anyone as a "hands on, see it everyday" individual that knows how to make a product work as intended. Especially when the product is 1000 miles away.

My second comment is directed at the original poster (DVD), and regards a certain degree of reality:
Only the manufacturer and retailer give a rat's butt about shipping & handling. After reception of "good condition" at a local, authorized retailer is damage honored by the manufacturer. (regardless of price)
"Distributors" tend to hold themselves innocent... no matter what the situation. Legally, they tend to win. It's you, along with the store you saw the Sony 42" in the first place that tend to suffer.

I suggest you save yourself the potential headache, and buy from someone who can deliver and install. That way, you have nothing to worry about.
