All,

I have a problem. I have to program a remote for a friend that is 15 hours away. Anyway he has no idea what I’m talking about when I ask him what inputs he has on his TV and I can not find it on the Panasonic website.

The MX Editor has a listing for that exact model, so I should have no problem with the codes, but I don’t even know which input will correspond to the outputs that I am sending it.

I will be sending along a Denon receiver and DVD player so I can program for them, but the TV is a real headache.

If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.

The TV is a Panasonic CT-36531G

Thank you in advance.

send a receiver with component up conversion and you wont need to switch inputs.

Problem is that I don't even know which input is component.

Just ask your friend to look at the back of his television and tell you which input is the component one. or send you the manual.

I've had some ugly bouts with the Panasonics in recent years.

Please forgive me for not remember the exact TV models, but as I recall the MX editor in combination with Panasonic CRT's is all screwed up, and you can't always trust the input assignment listed in the MX editor.

I want to say that "Video 1 and Video 2" correspond to Colorstream 1 and 2 with "Video 3" being the first composite/S video input, but don't quote me.
