Gerneral Inquiry. I have a client that has a 61" Pioneer Elite Plasma already. I could only fine one RS-232 protocal doc and it looks like a standard NEC codeset.
Are all pioneer ELites based on NEC and therefore use the same RS_232? The TV's mounted and we're adding AMX to the system so I'd like to do it RS-232 but theres no indication of the model number for the set. Its about 2-3 years old if that matters.
THanks Impaqt

I believe the 1410 is the one you want to use. It is 2-3 years old.

It is also still current - hung one this week...
The 61" is an NEC 'legacy' piece. They bought the plant, and brought out essentially the same unit with an Elite badge. The remote looks like an NEC, and I hear the 232 protocol does too... The 50 and 43 are Pioneer all the way, and two generations newer.
