let's put together a list of things to see and people to do while in Vegas for CES. Primarily things that pertain to the convention itself, but if there is a really good tip for general Vegas merriment, by all means share.

Here's some of my hit list:

[CES] What I REALLY Plan to See at the Show

[CES] Seeking Wireless AV

and of course...
CES Booths to Miss

Other things to figure out:
- return/repair policies among a/v vendors
- shift to mpeg 4 -- which multiswitches will work?
- DVI, then HDMI, now DisplayPort, Universal Display Interface (UDI) and "new-and-improved" HDMI. what gives?

Aside from AV stuff - go see the show "O" at the Bellagio. It's a technical marvel.

One of my good friends just returned from two year's working on "KA" (the newest Cirque show at MGM Grand) for two years on the technical side. I plan on going to see that one.
