Doing a job with 8 zones of D/A, and maybe 4 TV locations. (Wired for TV in all zones, but only 4 will actually be used) TV's are nothing fancy, and of the 4 TV locations, only 2 of them are D/A zones. Because of this, my original thoughts of using a CAV6 for audio/video distribution may change. (No way to get audio with the CAV6 in the 2 rooms w no D/A) So, I may just use a CAM6, and modulate the video sources to the TV locations. (Will only be using 2 satellite recievers for whole house)
Ive used the Channel Plus s video modulators before. (primarily becasue stereo was wanted for possible future expansion) However, is there really a benefit to using the S-video type modulators (SVM-24, etc)
[Link: channelplus.com] , when its all going over an RF signal anyway? Is the PQ better by using S-video pieces rather than a regular composite type modulator?
