Programmed up a system the other day and I cannot seem to get the I/R portion working. I captured the codes from the learner and built the files in the library and assigned them on the keypay. I/R emmitters are coming from the same source output as they should but nothing works. They keypad will do simple functions such as control the S6 system using its built in library code. But codes that I created for the CD and DISH box don't work. I test them from the learner and they work fine. THere are no errors whenever I download to the keypads. Any suggestions would be great.

what equipment exactly, i know elan s6 and z systems have trouble with toggle bit IR. Like the Polk XRT12!!!!!!!!i had the exact same thing happen to me with the polk unit. it worked from learner but not from KPD. i think dish net uses toggle bit so that could be it. if you learn into a mx or pronto then learn into the via learner ive had luck but not 100%.

other than that all connections are correct? cd is source 2 which is connected to ir port number 2, or whatever....

Try your All Out Port. I had this happen just last week.

You cannot use a blink IR emmitter with the S6. Check the emmitter that you used. If that doesn't work you can run the emmiter through a connecting block before you go to the source to add power. Or you can run the all out port to a connecting block and connect all of the emmitters to the connecting block. Hope this helps.

Lup3773, DO you mean Blaster IR?
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.
