I am looking fr a remote that can control 4 or 5 bits of equipment, what I would like is one that can be hooked up to my laptop and the buttons renamed, and that also works the on/off button on a Panasonic plasma. I have a Cambridge audio m1 at present and have to have some of the buttons blank. The tv needs, the supplied remote, to be pressed for a few seconds to start/stop which the M1 doesn't do. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi. Happy Holidays. Before somebody on this board forgets it's almost Christmas and flames you, please be specif about your equipment and give us as much info as possible. I am assumng the Cambridge Audio M1 is a remote control, but it is not familiar nor may it exist on this side of the pond.
