I have been using Xantech for years and over all they have always been a good product. However in the past year I have had many issues with them in relation dead out of the box equipment and Drag and Drop software. Now my question is what is a good alternative for an inwall LCD Keypad in that price range?
Not counting AMX or Crestron because of price mainly. I would like to get an alternative that is reliable as well as has an relatively easy learning curve if there is such a thing!

Don't know what price range you are after but the Sonance K2 is a real nice piece in a modest price range. Hard buttons plus touch screen in the middle; RTI software and library.

Actually, the Crestron tps-2000L is cheaper than both the RTI and Xantech products, has mic and speaker for use with intercom, and does video. I too was looking at the alternatives to Crestron/AMX but the RTI & Xantech products don't have 2-way com.
