Need to install a 43 inch plasma monitor. Saw the Pioneer Elite 43 inch. Does anyone have experience with this plasma screen for both video and pc usuage? Or does someone have a better recommendation? Also is there any difference between the Pioneer Elite plasma and the Pioneer plasma not classified as "Elite" models? As far as control - does the Pioneer have discreet on and off as well as input IR codes?
Any advice will be appreciated.

I display both models on my floor and theres a difference picture wise with the elite and regular pionner brand. The elite has better depth, color accuracy, just a nicer picture. The regular pioneer model is a nice picture, just not as nice. the regular model does come with an ntsc cable tuner and regular rca inputs instead of bnc's that the elite has. It also comes w/ a pair of speakers and a table top stand, most people already have those things so its not too big a deal. spend the few extra bucks and get the elite... unless you have no intention of hooking it up to a stereo or mounting it to a wall.
The discretes for the rptv's work on the plasmas.

The regular Pioneer plasmas require the use of the DVI interface and receiver resulting in limited cable length between the receiver box and the plasma itself. This can be a pia for in wall mounting especially if the equipment is in a closet or farther away than about 30 feet. Check out the cost of DVI cables longer than the supplied cable.
