just bought a screen that has a rocking switch but I would like to make it IR. What do I do? Thanks Larry

Which screen do you have, call the manufactor and get an IR relay box. Hope that helped

Most screens use a similar relay setup, contact the manufacturer as you will not be able to get the correct control at Best Buy or Radio Shack, even most integrators would not carry this in stock thus it would need to be ordered and at that point locally doesn't matter, we usually order them per job.

Could you build something out of some sort of relay and a couple of black boxes? Sure. Why would you? The relay from the manufacturer will work, and will have a warranty. Seems like a no-brainer to me...

Exactly.

You just spent thousands on a screen. What's a few more bucks to get the manufacturers IR switch? Have them overnight it.
