hey all. i know this is more for installs, remotes and audio, but i had to share. i have been using a POS tv for the longest time. i had the audio which to me was always more important. well, my tv finally started to go out so i sacked up and bought a t.v. however, i don't really need a flat panel either. so after doing all my research on panels and tubes (while looking at needs and available space) i finally settled on the sony 34xbr960. all i have to say is wow. i really didn't find a picture i liked on any set that was similar unless i spent another 3k. let me also let you know, i live at altitude, so getting altitude panels are a tad more expensive. i have thrown star wars 3 and lotr 3 in today and am just mesmerized.

i don't know what anyone else has experienced or thinks, but i'd recomend this t.v. to anyone. the only con i can see, the t.v. is pretty deep and weighs close to two hundred punds. so, as long as space is of no concern and you have something that can support it, it is fantastic.

anyone else have thoughts, similar experiences, or other equipment they now love?
