I know where you are coming from Frank, believe me....

However, when you step back and look from a distance, you might realize that sometimes its not the client's desires we are fulfilling... but our own. I think we all get a thrill from using other peoples money to build fantastic and cool systems. And many times it is our OWN passion which drives us to do such great work.

But, at the end of the day, we are in this for a career.... to make money from our talents....

And instead of building HIS "fantasy system" with his CLIENT'S MONEY, let me say that the owner of the company I mentioned is now easily able to build HIS FANTASY SYSTEM, at his OWN HOME. He is a wealthy man 8 years after his company started. He has been VERY profitable, his customers are VERY happy, he has VERY few problems and "be-backs", he has been featured in all of the TOP magazines for his systems... etc etc etc... and the way he does it, it is really very easy.

His company is the same size as mine (6 employees), but he does 3 times the annual volume (over $10mil US), at higher margin, and he works less and has less stress.....

So, needless to say, I've changed the way I do some things... and I'm not looking back...

But I definately understand your comments.. and relate to them totally.
