I have just finished installing a home theater in my basement. I am disappointed that I cannot find a discrete code for my sp 4805 projector. I have a pronto tsu3000. I have tried all of the codes listed on this website to no avail. Without the discrete code I am afraid someone in my home will accidentally turn on and off the projector many times causing damage to the lamp. I would appreciate it if anyone could lead me in the right direction. I know the manual for the 4805 lists discrete codes, but they are not in hex. Is there a program I can use to convert them? Thanks.

Thanks, Instalz. I tired these, and they do not work. Can anyone confirm that they have these codes working so that I can narrow down my problem? It is possible I entered them incorrectly. Thanks again.

The infocus website has codes listed for the projector here: [Link: infocus.com]Is there a way to convert these codes into pronto hex? I would love to learn how to do this. I am very hands on, so if someone could explain how to make the conversion, I will give it a try.

The only power code shown on the infocus website is a power toggle code. This projector does not seem to have discrete ON / OFF codes.

No seperate on offs for that projector. Been bitten by that one a few times.

I have a 4805 hanging at our office and using an MX350 I have discrete on/off. DOn't remember where they came, but I'll try to find them on Monday.

Thanks, rlustig. I would really be grateful. I know there must be discretes out there somewhere, otherwise why would infocus post them on their own website. I wish someone could teach me how to convert from whatever their code (infocus) is to pronto hex. If you look at the infocus page I posted above, you will see a discrete for standby, which I believe is off. Let's say no one can come up with the codes. Is there a way to alter the power toggle code to change it to become only on and only off?

Well, I emailed tech support at Infocus, and here is what they said:
Unfortunately we do not have discreet power on / power off codes available for this projector. There is only an option for power toggle.
I am not familiar with the Pronto TSU 3000 remote control and how to program it. I would recommend consulting Pronto on information on how to convert the hex codes we have provided to those accepted by the remote so that you can program the individual functions.
I can't believe in this day and age you can purchase a $1k + product and it does not have discrete codes. If anyone does know of a way to get a dicrete code working for power on and power off, I would appreciate it.

The first two in the link that Springs posted are what worked for me. Pasted into ProntoEdit NG, then learned from my TSU3000 into an MX350.
