I have run into a situation where I need to get aquire a Niles Intellifile II kit - part number FG00796. I do not want to become a full-blown Niles dealer right now. Can anyone help me? I am in the middle of a build/re-build of some pretty complex A/V rooms for a local company and they have several Intellicontrol systems that I need to work with.

You know, some of us have that $500 guizmo. If you were willing to let us know where you are at on this big blue marble maybe there's someone close to you that will let you rent or borrow it...

Thanks for the replies, Steve and djnorm - I don't mind buying one... can someone sell me one? I checked eBay and nothing is on right now. As for where I am - outside Philly, PA.

You just bought one off of ebay? I've been looking daily for months and haven't seen one! I had one a year ago and sold it because I never used it. Now I need one and can't get it :)
Steve- I'm right near Charlotte and need one for a day or two to clean up some codes. If you'd be willing to rent or sell yours, please let me know.

I'm still tethered to a handfull of dinasaurs (Intellipads/Intellicontrols) so I have to hold on to it. I'm updating a few this month for the new Music lineup on DirecTV otherwise it sits in the van and collects barnacles. In town I not so concerned about loaning it out occasionally.

Hey - It's Christmas today, well almost anyway... I just picked one up on eBay (as you suggested). It was bundled with 2 Intellicontrol units, which I do not need, but I could not pass the chance up. The auction said that the PC programmer unit has everything except the cable that goes between the programmer and the MSU. Hopefully that cable is easily purchased from Niles or easily fabricted.

It's available as a SKU from Niles - 20' Transfer Cable (sorry don't know the FG#) It is the same as the one that comes with the old Intellipad, but much longer and stronger.

djnorm - are you an authorized niles dealer? if so, could i buy the cable from you? niles won't sell direct unless i become a dealer.
