I'm going to be installing some volume controls in a gym and am looking for a clear lock box (like the ones for thermostats) to put over it so people cant change the volume. Has anyone ever seen one of those?

Why not put the volume controls in a restricted access area instead?

Just an idea.

If you need a bigger box, here's what I found...not sure if this is what you're looking for or not.

I don't know if there's a way to link to this page or not but here's a direct link to try.

If that doesn't work, go to www.mcmaster.com and search for "75405k61" then click on "Catalog Page" below the information box that pops up. Then scroll down to "NEMA 12 and NEMA 4 Contemporary Style Steel Enclosures with Window"

or maybe clear thermostat covers. some thermos fit on a single gang box, so maybe there are loclking covers for them that will go over a volume control.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Don't I count as an "everyone" Or am I just so special that I get a special thanks?

If you still need more info and haven't checked out the rest of the 80 gazillion products McMaster sells

Has some all aluminum covers, similar to the plastic ones that everyone's been talking about, the watertight in-use covers. Might be a little more durable when little Johnny and his friends want to see how many hits with a basketball the plastic ones will stand up to. Of course this still depends on how many volume controls need to be enclosed.
