I was wondering if anyone had discrete power codes or a workaround for a Krell Home Theater Standar 7.1 Preamp? I have some info from krell for power on and power off but I am confused with converting that to pronto hex. I have this data On: System (hex):1c Command (hex): 38 System (dec): 28 Command (dec): 56 RC5 Word (hex): 3738
Off: System (hex):1c Command (hex): 39 System (dec): 28 Command (dec): 57 RC5 Word (hex): 3739
I just don't know how to use this information to make a usable pronto code. If someone could give me a link to an existing post that clearly explains this or explain it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

I have not gotten into this myself, but one of the categories under the Pronto files has to do with how to use this information. If I remember reading this correctly, when you learn a code into the Pronto, Prontoedit will let you see what the code is, and will let you edit it. Check the Pronto part of this site to get this correctly.

you can get the 7.1 to issue codes from the unit itself - All kinds of neat discrete code (I think so at least, the HTS2 did so i assume the 7.1 does as well) You should be able to access the code llibrary from within the menu system - best of luck
