While your bashing on RUnco may be well deserved on your end, please keep in mind that there are dealers/integrators out there like myself, that have "NEVER" had a problem integrating Runco into any system.

May be just blind dumb-ass luck on my part, but honestly, whether it was a CRT or fixed pixel from the CL-500, VX-1000, 947 Ultra, or whatever the display. I have NEVER had a problem integrating a Runco into a system. Problems with them after installation? sure... everyone has had a problem with every component installed. that's just the nature of the beast. but, I have never had any problems integrating the units into the system. whether thru IR or RS-232.

I would rather integrate a Runco, than a Seleco (Sim2), Mitsu, Sony, or good forbid Piano (! OMG!)

Dwin is also fairly easy to integrate, but good help you if their transcanner dies...

I have also had fairly good service from Runco on their tech support side, but honestly, have only had to call them 3 times in 12 years. I would again rather deal with Runco Techs than Seleco Techs...

The Software upgrade will solve your problems bud...

We had the same problem, and fixed the problem by using the codes from the conroller of a runco plasma. Give it a try it will work since we done it with a pronto (no burst or repeat control)

You can call runco. There is a RS-232 fix for that problem. Youll be up and running in ten minutes
