I have a main floor living room that I would like to add some in wall speakers to and add an ipod for music. What I wold really like though...I know its overkill but I would like to add a touchpanel screen to the wall that would allow me to acesss ipod menu and songs! how do I do this? Im totally clueless Im prettyy sure I know how to run the speaker wires but have no clue on power for the ipod and anything esle thanks for any help it is really appreciated

Speakercraft, and hire a pro!
why have a nice system if you cant operate it, program the remote the right way the FIRST time!

Just remember that if you try it and it does not work, you might have created more work for the pro to come back in fix it. It will cost you more than if the pro just came in did the project from the beginning.

Good luck,, none the less. The Speakercraft set-up is a good recommendation.

You could buy the new Apple iMac G5 which now has "Front Row" with a remote control to run music and video with an iPod style menu. It's flat enough to wall mount. Add speakers, and an amp and connect them with an M-Audio "USB Transit" for optical out audio.

It would not make sense to "hire a pro" for such a simple setup. Not everyone has a 5 figure budget for a home theater set-up.

Would be interested to hear from all the "Hire A Pro" folks as to what their typical consulting fees are as well as their typical equipment budgets.

It was at CEDIA, but now where???

This had full color display and some nice features....

ada has an ipod dock...but thats big nmoney and the ipod will sound like shit....ipods on good audio systems suck........may as well be playing an 8track
