I think it is time to find another business. That is just too scary to comprehend. Bit of trivia. DeWalt was formed after Black & Decker went down the toilet. They do make the best right angle stud/joist drill out there. Takes some balls to operate it tho.

Despite your name, I would heartily recommend actually holding it with your hands.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

We'll now we will have to write a book on how to build a compound sliding miter saw, won't we. Owen have you seen the book or just a picture? My guess is that its as informative as a Lincon Tech manual, and NO i did't go there.

I have both a DeWalt right angle drill, and a Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee is BY FAR the better of the two.

IMHO Milwaukee tools are better BY FAR in all respects, reverseable batteries, metal chucks, better construction, more durable...

I don't see dewalt making the best of anything. It's all the Home Depot marketing. I hear installers and contractors all the time claim "if it aint yellow it aint a tool". I guess theyve never used anything else. Yes milwaukee's hole hawg is a great tool. As far as cordless goes Makita can't be beat. I could not live without my makita drill and impacts.

Looks like this thread just went off topic :)

No, I have not seen the book. There are sample pages of it on Dewalt's web site, if you are curious.

I've interviewed a number of Lincoln Tech's grads. I know there is a place in this world for trade schools, but their curriculum needs some help.

My girlfriend has a Lady Remington tool belt. The power screwdriver is actually a beast. And the batteries last for hours on it. Oddly, since I've gotten it shes been spending a lot of time "hanging pictures". Oh well, at least the mailmans not over everyday helping her with her strecthes anymore.

And where do good installers come from anymore? Probably the darkest bars the city has to offer.
Gunga.....Gunga....GU-Lunga

And since Ernie won't keep count, I will. Hes up to 249, and counting.

Amen to that...
You only had a couple at a time, mine were every other phone call...

It's the nature of being in that business, I guess...
