(For the record, I'm not part of TVOne or AVToolbox, I make no money from this box whatsoever. Its just a great solution box that many people have asked for so I'm providing info here....)
AVToolbox is finally shipping their HD DOwnconverter. I had to opertunity to test this piece out about a month ago and can say its a great soluion box.
Take the HD Component input from you Sat, Cable Box, DVD Player etc.
Loop Through for your Primary display- There was NO difference in picture quality ont he pass through vs. direct.
Composite, S-Video and 480i Component output in tandem
Separate Aspect Ratio Control for the SD Output via Remote or RS-232 control
It will also downconvert 1280x1024 PC Resolution to SD. (HD15)
List price ended up a bit more than I would of liked, but for a job with a bunch of SD touchpanels, this is a killer box.
