I picked up this book at CEDIA EXPO in the bookstore, everyone should buy a copy.

Home Theaters and electronic Houses by Tina Skinner.

It's always great to see new ideas and just see how other guys do the job. The photography is 1st rate.

CEDIA really should make that bookstore bigger!

I have picked up some if the CEDIA books at Amazon for less than I could buy them for at the show...

I picked up that book, I like that there are big photos of equipment rooms including meticulously trimmed Middle Atlantic Racks and Lutron HomeWorks panels...

May I also suggest Home Electronic Ideas, a quarterly coffee-table book from the electronic House gang. Lots of pictures, lots of ideas for consumers who are browsing or ready to buy.

It sells for $10 on the newsstand, but dealers can buy them in bulk for much less. Don't know all the details on the bulk buys, but if you're interested, let me know and I'll get the info.

That is a great book. I have a copy of that book on the coffee table of my showroom. I also constantly use it to get the juices flowing for new customers.

I also have a room featured in that book. One of my proudest rooms - the Tuscanny Theatre. (OK now I'm bragging).

I also like the EH quarterlies.

I bought that Krissy Rushing book and Theo's Great Escapes book.

Honestly, I miss the early years of Audio Video Interiors... before they changed the logo. Also Perfect Vision back when it was a Reader's Digest sized mag.

If anyone has any back issues of AVI, Perfect Vision, Resi Systems, etc. that they are throwing out, I want them.

I already have most of the CE Pros...

I own nearly the complete collection of AVI - from frist issue to the last. It is the only one that I've consistently kept over the years. I think I may be missing one or two issues during it's entire run.

Wow, talking like this reminds me of the old, old days when I collected comic books. I still have some of those old comic books, but most got thrown out by my mom. They would be worth a bundle now (1st 50 issues of Spidey, Fantastic For, Xmen, DD, Nick Fury, etc...). That could have been my kids college fund!

Just ordered Tina and Theo's books. So, who is this Tina chick?

And FWIW - I love having the old CEDIA project books for pictures and stuff.

That is a really cool book. I also like having the theater shots laying around. I'm just upset because they rejected my now famous 5.1 Toilet.
