Does anyone know how to set the Lutron Spacer System scene for the dimmers? I have talked to Lutron and they say hold the remote button down for 3 - 5 seconds with the lights set at the level you want and it will tell the dimmer that this is scene 1 and will blink twice.

I have downloaded the scene 1 ir code and programmed it in my pronto tsu2000. It only sends out one ir burst which won't work. I have tried to modify the ir code by switching the 3rd and 4th number to make it a repeating code but this still will not work.

Lutron tech support tells me that the pronto is not sending a repeating ir code.

Has anyone experienced this problem and have a solution? I am trying not to spend the extra $100 on the remote just to use once to program my pronto.

Thanks in advance for any help.

any installers in Palm Springs, CA area?

Ryan

Thanks but it didn't seem to help. what is that from? The dimmer I'm trying to program is a spslv-600.

And with no luck changing the preset scenes.

You could go into a store that sells the remote and see if they would let you borrow the remote for your purposes. Maybe they would charge only a small fee. Alternatively, you could bring your Pronto into the store preconfigured with about 16 or 20 or 24 blank buttons. You might label them Test1 through Test16 (or however many you want). Then use their Lutron remote in the store to learn the different buttons many different ways (short touch to long holds). One or some of them might end up working for you.

I was able to borrow a Lutron remote once (one with 4 scene buttons and raise, lower, and On/Off). I was able to finally learn the buttons to my Marantz RC9200 where I could get my Spacer lamp dimmer to set new scenes using the 9200.

One more thing: I can try sending you the codes that worked for me. If they work for you, then I will post them on this site.
