Hello, I bought one of those wireless IR senders and a Xantech connecting block. The wireless base thing has a minijack for another emitter. Would I just make a cable to go from that jack to the IR rcvr jack on the xantech? Or would I need to make one that goes from the minijack to the signal terminals? And will I need to plug in the connecting block to power or not (it says if you use it to split emitter signals not to)? Thanks in advance!

You only need the connecting block to allow more than one emitter to operate at the same time from the wireless base. The IR RCVR jack on the connecting block is a 3-conductor jack, and the emitter out jack on the base unit is most likely a 2-conductor jack. Don't connect these two jacks together, I don't think it would work. Your best bet is to wire the tip of a 2-conductor plug to the signal terminal of the connecting block, and the shield to the ground.
