I agree with the gentleman that spoke of the Carnare.
Absolutely the best for 3,4,5 wire coax runs that must be the correct length. It should be mentioned that both the crimper/die set and the striper are custom.
They also allow crimping on a RCA, thus avoiding using a BNC to RCA adapter. For single runs I use 1505A Belden. It is rated for SDI up to 3Ghz. Plus it handles abrasion better = pulling in pipes and around corners. Use Marshall Sound Runner for Speaker lines.
Most mfgs. have assembly instructions on their products via their web sites. Also the 9451 Belden is an old standby for balanced audio however, it's not the best looking. Mogami and Canare make great cables.
There are companies such as Extron that make Audio/Video & control all in one.
Good luck.

Look into the "One Wire" product from MIT. Also very convenient at times.

Have yet to have a problem with the Grizz, but one thing I like about Polaris is the gearshift...it's easy to use. On the Yamaha, it's a bitch to get it from forward to reverse when you're stuck. But I have yet to get it really well stuck. Don't know much about Arctic Cat's. Saw one kickin' ass through a giant mud hole up in Isle yesterday...that's about all I know of them.

RG-59 vs. RG-6: I was under the impression RG-6 was used for even short runs. For long runs I too would use RG-6. But for interconnects, I like RG-59 for it's flexibility.

I use Canare for video, and all audio, Carol studio grade for speaker, and Belden for RF

I have tried cables from a company called Pure Note and the quality is amazing. Check out their site www.purenote.com. They are not cheap but the quality of constuction and materials are amazing.

We just got our first spool of wire and some connectors today from Liberty. I gotta say that it's about the coolest thing I've seen in quite a while!

Very Professional looking, (We may get paid to do the job, but I don't always consider it a professional job) very quick, We're going to keep it!

RE: Custom S-Video cables. For longer runs I used to use a Tributaries S-Video amplifier. But it was moderately expensive, $299 retail. Now Tributaries make an interface that allows you to run two RG-6 cables (recommend quad shielded solid copper center conductor) that terminate into an S-Video connector. Use one on each end of the RG-6 cables. We have done runs of about 35ft. and are unable to tell the difference between a 35ft. S-Video cable with the $299 amp. The interfaces have a dealer cost of about $20.00 each and Tributaries will make them in custom lengths. We use 1 meter and a 1/2 meter interfaces.
