Pulling my hair out trying to get an MX850/MRF300 to talk to a Tascam CDA500 (CD+cassette rackmount). Directly learned to the 850, i can get a response from the deck one out of every ten or so presses. Tried every TEAC cd player in the mx editor library, also tried the roundabout of learning with RTI, shuffling that into a .ccf and the universal browser cut-n-paste to mx editor. No dice.

Has anyone had any experience with the Tascam gear? RTI says it's an NEC T/3T-32 encoding. Nothing turned up for me with searches here or the other usual sites. Called TS and they claimed all their hex and remote info was once on the site but got broke. Techie tells me he can mail me a disk -- fat lot of good that does.

Any help [edit: ridicule] would be appreciated.

[edit: Problem was RF related and I hadn't reset the mode to IR for testing. Learnedcodes work fine, I'll upload RTI and URC formats for this, the Denon DN-V300 and Samsung SV-5000W when I return to the office.]
