Got a sample from my distributor..... probably a demo model....

Updated TT software and T3 firmware...

2 issues:

A) I can't receive a file from the T3 into the computer. System recovery also doesn't work. Everything appears to work, including the progress bars fills up etc, but the T3 never appears within the system on the PC.

B) Some serious flag issues. I have a test file (which I'll email to anyone who wants to have a look)... which I've sent to RTI support.

In the test file, I have 2 buttons. Each has a macro.

in button #1: macro sets flag 1, and clears flag 2. Then it tests for either flag and redirects to a page that says "FLAG 1 SET" or "FLAG 2 SET".

same thing for button #2, except it clears flag 1 and sets flag 2.

In this current test version, apparently neither flag gets set, even though it is very clearly IN THE MACRO...

ie: step 1 ) set flag 1
step 2 ) test flag 1... FAILS!

In other variations of this test, I can't seem to clear flags (ie they stay SET after a CLEAR FLAG command)

I have ensured that ALL buttons, and the DEVICE default are set to STANDBY mode.

Anyone else run in to this? Could it be faulty ram in the T3?

Thanks again guys.

fluid-druid,
Shoot me that file.. I too have started to play with the T3. I will test the upload and let you know..
Also,
I have been meaning to ask you this based upon your prior posts about the use of flags..
I have a T2+ that I programmed as a house remote. Thus it is set up to roam through 4 zones (all IR). All equipment is centrally located except for the display. The home page makes the user select the zone and sets the flag for that zone. The zone flag will then drive the appropriate channel and volume IR for that display.. All works well except I am trying to avoid powering up all the centrally located equipment. So, I set an equipment flag every time a piece powers up. Then at the end of a night, power down all the equipment via a macro button that checks for all equipment flags, sends the power command and clears the flag. Ok, here is the problem. There are 7 pieces of equipment and the check flag else statement for all 7 exceeds the 64 steps. I talked to RTI Tech support but they could not offer any suggestions.. Many of the items do not have discrete power downs.. Any ideas?
Thanks.
I'll let you know tomorrow..

Quick update:

RTI support emailed me a note today. They have found an issue with the way flags are being handled. Software update "later this week on the dealer website" will fix it.
