I have seen both new Mitsubishi DLP & LCD TV's. I'm having a difficult time seeing the difference in performance between the 2. Has anyone noticed any major distinguishing features? I realize that LCD's have generally had difficulty keeping up with bright colored fast action scenes (they tend to break up) particularly on the larger sets. You'll almost certainly get a better pic from the DLP, (hey its 1080p for a start, LCD is 720p). DLP also has cable-card and digital memory card slot, LCD has neither.

Yes, 1080. The cost is about $900 more for the newest DLP. Seems like a hands down decision for the new one. Looking forward to setting one up next week.

DUDE! The screen door on the LCD is horrible! I have sold one and I was embarrassed. The DLP is sooooo.. much smoother. Even my WD-52725 blows away the LCD. I will admit the new cosmetics are sexier but I will keep my 2005 Medallion DLP. Do your client a favor and let them compare the two if you cannot see the difference. Let them decide. I know this is tough if you do not have a showroom but 1 trip to BB and they will decide to buy the DLP. Just my 2 cents.
