I have seen both new Mitsubishi DLP & LCD TV's. I'm having a difficult time seeing the difference in performance between the 2. Has anyone noticed any major distinguishing features?

I realize that LCD's have generally had difficulty keeping up with bright colored fast action scenes (they tend to break up) particularly on the larger sets. But with what little I've seen, they don't seem to be doing this.

You'll almost certainly get a better pic from the DLP, (hey its 1080p for a start, LCD is 720p). DLP also has cable-card and digital memory card slot, LCD has neither.

Yes, 1080. The cost is about $900 more for the newest DLP. Seems like a hands down decision for the new one. Looking forward to setting one up next week.

Thanks guys.

DUDE! The screen door on the LCD is horrible! I have sold one and I was embarrassed. The DLP is sooooo.. much smoother. Even my WD-52725 blows away the LCD. I will admit the new cosmetics are sexier but I will keep my 2005 Medallion DLP. Do your client a favor and let them compare the two if you cannot see the difference. Let them decide. I know this is tough if you do not have a showroom but 1 trip to BB and they will decide to buy the DLP. Just my 2 cents.
