In the land of OZ I'm guessing you say fuse and
that translates to a breaker in the electral panel
to us in the US. Seems like a electracal wiring
design issue to me.

I'm talking about the 2 removeable fuses in the back of the Amps. They're blowing.

you may be right about it being the 240V models...I don't know. I do know that they were aware of the problem and continued to ship though.

You know this from Crestron or the distributor? Might the units you are discribing have already been in the distributor's warehouse and it was he, not Crestron, who continued to ship them? Finally, if this problem were so common how many other firms down under are experiencing the same problem. It would have to be more than a few if "Crestron knew" about the problem.

The distributor at the time told us this. They weren't in the warehouse as just about all crestron stock at that time was ordered from the US as required and we had to wait a couple of weeks for it.

We've had a run of (5) RMA's issued by Crestron in the past month. I was starting to worry that this somehow might be indicative of some bigger issues at Crestron. Probably just bad luck.

Does anyone here carry both AMX and Crestron? If so, how has it been dealing with Crestron on this? Any threats of losing your franchise? Do you sell both in the residential market? If yes, on what basis do you select one platform over the other? Thanks in advance.

The quote was from Crestron USA themselves, direct
to our client.

I admit that I've skipped over alot of this thread, but if Crestron is under-quoting their own distributor, I would get directly in contact with Sean at Crestron Control Solutions.
