for the front home page of their web site. | FP

You should be very careful about doing something like this . If you didn't do a "work for hire" contract or buy-out , the photographer can sue DWIN or anyone else that uses his photographs without his permission . I don't mean to freak you out but it falls under copyright law .

Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

Most people haven't a clue, glad you do .

BTW, the photographer did a nice job at an excellent price (that's how much I charge just for expenses) :).

Get a decent digital camera 3.1 megapixel is fine. Take a lot of pictures, I repeat , take a lot of pictures. After all, they are free. Toss the ones that don't read well. Serendipity plays a huge role in taking photos. OK, now the real plan is to take before and after pictures. In a large project, take photos at various stages or phases of the project. Then, put together a power point presentation that shows the chronology of the project. It can be a very powerful promotional tool.

Can't say enough about the power of a well crafted presentation.

Dawn,

Jupiter has one of my favorite beachs. Wish I
could afford to take the time off; I would do
it for free.

Jupiter has one of my least favorite bea....persons
as well; she's an attorney in West Palm these
days. Explains why I know the place. :-)

Most attorneys scare me :-)

When we have theaters professionally shot, we
either shoot it with video off, then drop in an
image in photo shop.

Or... Put camera on tripod. Take one shot with
video off. Then same exact shot with video on,
optimizing that shot for the best possible video
image.

then, in graphics program, drop the image onto
blank screen from first shot.

Julie,

I tried your suggestion last night, and used Paint Shop Pro to drop the 2nd TV shot into the first image. It worked perfectly!

Thanks so much, this technique is just what I needed.
