Have a customer that wants to watch TV and listen to Radio through their 1905. I know the remote has a video select button, but is there discretes to select the video input discretely?

Never saw any discrete IR for this.... It is available through RS-232 though. Might need to use a Xantech IR-RS232 interface if this is critical.

The 1905 does not have a RS232 port, and there is no discrete. Split the output on the STB and run one to the TV and run one to the receiver. Make a macro on their remote (If they have one) that will allow all of this to take place with the push of just one button.

I may be wrong as I have not been in a Denon shop in over a year, but on like the 2804's and stuff there was like a "video select" button. the sequence woul be a macro like "select fm input", "video select", "Select tv input"
Hope is helpful...I am not intimately familiar with the 1905

There is a video select button on the front of the reciever. I looked at Denon's website, and see that there is a video button on the remote, but from everything I can see this is a toggle button. I'll keep trying. I don't know how important this is to the customer, but they did ask.
BTW they do have a remote. MX-850.. I programmed the macro for the tuner to turn the plasma off with a dicrete off since tuner has no video other than OSD, and all other video divices TV discrete on is included in the macro . Thought that I was going to be slick, but sure enough...customer wants something different..Thanks for your help guys
