The only one I can think of is the Sherwood Newcastle
R-903 digital receiver. It is 10" deep but has
no Component. Maybe a small component switcher
to go with it help like one from
www.inday.comI had to use the Sherwood Newcastle piece in a cabinet that was 12" deep, and about the only thing it did well was fit. It sounds horrible and is a pain in the but to control.
For the video switching I used a DVDO Iscan to scale the cablebox and DVD for the HD plasma.
I would choose to use the Parasound Zpre2 and Zamp along with a small component switcher. Sure it would be more physical pieces, but the system will be easier and more reliable to control, not to mention it will sound 50 times better than the sherwood and a component switch.
Oh, and both Parasound pieces are half rack wide and 10" deep with connectors, so they can stack and take up almost no space in the cabinet.
