Anyone ever use any of the Aegis products for multizone A/V? ( www.aegishome.com). The AVMS system looks impressive, although I'm guessing it could be pricey. Just wondering.

I can't answer from experience, by I trust my friend out in California. He said the AVMS is not very reliable and a bit problematic. I was looking for a lower cost system to offer clients who can't afford an AMX system and was looking hard at Aegis AVMS. I am going to wait until he says they have the bugs fixed.

Thanks for the info. The system looks flexible enough to integrate whole-house A/V, security, HVAC, automation, etc. However, finding someone w/ first-hand experience is proving difficult. Please feel free to elaborate on the reliability factors, or have your friend post a reply. Thanks.
