Which if any av receivers out their will switch video inputs weather they are composite or component?

I think if you do a search here it will come up with a few hits...can't remember the model numbers.

You are asking if their are receivers out there that will 'transcode' the composite video to a YC signal correct? ALL of them will switch the signals, a few of them will transcode it...

Even if I knew of a receiver that did a transcode I wouldn't use it. Most solid projectors will have low end Faroudja built into it anyway.
One of the best receiver would be the Yamaha RX-v1000 or any of that series. Control is RS-232 as well.
3 component inputs R-Y, B-Y, Y + Svid and composite.
Optical, coax AC-3 etc. \
I highly recommend it.
