Hello out there, I'm hoping that some one out there has run across this problem. I have a Runco CR26HD LCD monitor and I have the new Direct TV satellite receiver. I want to program the Sat. Rec. universal remote to do basic control of the monitor, however the codes provided in the owners manual do not work. Does anyone have the new IR code for the New Runco LCD models?

My guess is that if the remote had the code in its firmware then it would be published in the manual.
You should be using a more sophisticated remote control anyway.

No surprise that Runco does not appear on the list; that model is only weeks old. I would suggest calling Runco and asking if the control of that model was done by Sharp, NEC, etc, and try that. Or, AHEM's suggestion is a great one; the Runco customer deserves better.
