The database of IR codes that comes with the mx-3000 editor dosen't have a lot of the equipment my company deals with. Instead of learning everytime, is there a way to add remote codes for new devices to the existing database?

Thank everybody!

While you can't actually save it to the mx data base, you can create your own device files, stored as an mxd file in 'your' data base.(just like saving a client file)
It works quite well and saves a lot of time.

You can also submit the files to URC, and in time they will add them to the database as a firmware update to the MX editor software.
