I have a Samsung 46" DLP that will turn off but not on with discrete commands Any help?

get a real tv. samsung sucks now.

samsung is to tv's what bose is to audio.

Samy DLP's have known problems with their discrete condes. Try a work around where a power off discrete code is sent just before the toggle power on is sent.

Works about 90% of the time, sometimes the TV will lock up in which case you will need to unplug it, plug it back in. You should be good.

We no longer sell nor work with Samy's because of this
I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV.
My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird.

And to think that Samsung is coming out with a full line of home appliances that are home automation ready. Products include Fridges, Microwaves, Ovens, stoves, dishwashers etc. But their TV's still have problems with discretes? Yep. Can't wait for their "Home Automation" Line of appliances ; )
