I'm looking for a can that supports a traditional patch-bay arrangement. Almost all the accessories are pretty useless to me - I'm really looking for flexible patching. I've been using the Leviton 47689 (12 ports of quickport connectors that plug into a type-66 block bracket) but it's too tight for terminating RG-6 (when entering from above not directly behind) and I have to leave the covers off the cans.

What I need is something where the connectors at an angle. DSC (Concourse Pro) seems to have something like this now but I don't know anyone who has used them. They at least have a passive 12 port coax patch bay and a passive 18 port cat5 panel, all at an angle plus shelves and back-plates...

What I'd really like is a generic frame that I can screw into a can....

Any ideas?

Not sure if you know this but most of those companies leviton, onq etc have gone to the ability to add an extention to the can itself. I know what you mean though sometime you need to find a few guys to lean into it to get it to close. I have just switched and started using 1 28: or 42" can for cat5e and another for rg6.

Open House has an angle connection block, and I think they are universal cans.

Separate Cans for Data telco, and spearate can for Cable/sat. We use Channel Plus or Onq Depending on the job. We have currently been using more Channel Plus stuff though.

Same here, the OnQ is good stuff, but to understand their part number system you have to have a background in Military supply parts.

And since Ernie won't keep count, I will. Hes up to 249, and counting.
