Hello, I recently played with the RTI T2+ and enjoyed a feature called "scrolling list" whereby I could download an excel file of the 400 disc Sony DVD changer into the remote. This was way cool to allow me to select the film by name and launch it directly. I find some features of the MX-850 better and wonder if anyone has created a similar "scrolling list" on the '850. A powerful tool indeed! I love the graphics of the RTI remotes, but each one has its own drawbacks.... Any suggestions on how to do the list in the '850??

We can do it my way, or we can do it my way while I yell. The choice is yours. |

YOU COULD USE ALL 10 LETTERS ACROSS THE SCREEN AND ONLY ONE BUTTON FOR EACH SET OF TWO, BUT I GUESS YOU'D STILL BE PRETTY LIMITED BY THE NUMBER OF PAGES. WHAT'S REALLY INTERESTING IS THAT THE RTI T2+ HAS THIS FEATURE (AND I LOVE IT!), BUT THEIR NEWEST T3 DOES NOT. NOT SURE WHO IS IN CHARGE THERE, BUT IT SEEMS THAT EACH REMOTE IS DESIGNED IN A VACUUM WITHOUT ANY KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT EITHER PRECEEDED IT, OR WHAT IS TO COME.
