We just installed a Marantz theater with an MX-650 in a home with an existing Marantz theater operated by an MX-600. We need to figure out a way to address the MX-600 separately from the MX-650? Anyway to pair a MRF-250 with the MX-600 so that these systems won't interfere with each other? Any other suggestions?

Sounds like the perfect question to ask over at the URC forum... Sorry, but I don't know, or I would answer...

Good luck

Nope, you can prevent the mx-600 from communicating with the mrf-250, but there is no way to stop the mx-650 talkng to the mrf-100.

Are you sure? It seems the last one I did, you could address the unit's RF signal to only control one of the channel settings on the back of MRF-250. Or does the MRF-100 see all channels that are on the MRF-250.
I'll figure it out by the time you wake up tomorrow. Good Night

Yes, I'm sure. The mrf-250 is addressable, so the mx-600 won't react with it. But the mrf-100 isn't, it will accept commands from both the mx600 & 650.

Had you chosen the MX850 instead of the MX650 you would have been able via the software to make your remotes communicate with the correct MRF unit without interference from each other.

That wouldn't have helped either, the problem here is the MRF-100, it picks up everything. If he had two mx-650's, mx-650 & 850, 650 & 350, it would be fine.
