Two quick questions..

I have an older tunebase 100 with the sony Sx300 adaptor controller piece to do rs232 to rs432 and I dont have a power supply.

1. Does anyone know the DC and MA specs on this so I can find a suitable replacement.

On the main unit........
2. Can this be converted to ethernet........it is the older modem card and I know I shouldn't be inside of it but can it be done or has anyone done it before.........

And for a reason why, is that I would like it to access library information faster for the customer and because I HAVE TO use it........

Call Escient tech support...

I really don't think it can, but call Escient tech support.

Yep,
I have ONE of those left in the field that will not give it up. The new servers are SOOOOO much faster and better that changer controllers, but I guess if I spent that much money on a CD controller, I would keep it for a while too.

Scott is sharp... I don't know who else is there these days.

If you get through, ask them why they nerver replied to my e-mail RA request on the Sony 777 DVD changer I bought from them...

It's been a week now.

That's OK.
I called in myself to listen to the funeral music for a while...

Thanks for reminding me to call.

What was the answer on your old TuneBase??

They said 12 v dc with 100 ma to 300 ma for power
and no go on the ethernet card...

I figured since it was a linux based interface someone has done something to it but then again the newer ones incorporate the ethernet and a faster processor so why wouldn't someone get a newer one anyway...

Thanks

I got my RA... no real reason why the e-mail got lost, but he found it within a minute of looking.

Oh well, their support is still among the best available.
