Hey Rick,
Here's a followup. I found that this set does have a screen saver system. It shifts the entire picture by 2 pixels every 20 minutes. The set also has a "screen wipe" function that puts a white screen up and you have to manually turn it on and off. The only bummer about this set, is, as far as hitachi customer service is concerned, there is no discrete code to select RGB. I wrote a macro for my TSU7000, and although it is a slow macro (over 6 seconds) it works. I can live with it. Thanks for all your help.
