I am rather new at this. I seem to pick up the concepts very well. Got a few Niles intellipadss that I service(not installed myself) but I have no problems manipulating the software for new components ect. I have done all the physical connections and getting ready to do the software side. Any tips?

I don't really understand your question but if you are more specific I would be happy to help you. I need to know exactly what you are trying to do and with what kind of equipment you are trying to hook up.

I am just asking if there are any tips, you know things you had wished you knew before you got to install one. It is a Nuvo Concerto.

I've foudn the concerto to be the easiest OS I have ever learned...It took me all of 15 minutes to learn it and now it is our standard DAS system. The only tip I would suggest is to make sure you have the latest software (from NUVO website....NUVO University) and know the difference between "once" "once and revert" and "forever" in the macros. Also, link your learned and banked IR commands in the macro portion.
The rest is trial and error. If you are doing this for a customer, set one up in your own home first, work out the bugs and then install in the customer's home

I'm Not an engineer, but I play one on TV. My handle is Tweety but I have nothing to do with the organization of similar name. I just had a really big head as a child so folks called me tweety bird. |
