Are any of you out there using any online service such as mymobileworkforce.com for installers filling out timecards and sending punchlists electronically through phones or PDAs?

I'm not but I noticed the new Delorme GPS receiver does logging so you can upload whenever you want to see where they've been.
I use Delorme mapping on the laptop with GPS pretty regulary. One of the best $150 I've spent.
One trip I had a rather narrow miss with a gaurdrail on some ice. a couple of weeks later I was reviewing the log just because I never had before and lo and behold there was my offroad excursion right there in the log. I couldn't stop laughing.

What's with the GPS on the Nextels? Does it work anywhere? We all switched to Nextel a while back, and we all got "GPS enabled" phones, and if you ask them, it should work. They have some tracking software, but we can't get the phones to give us GPS info at all... Anybody else?

I was under the understanding that the Nextel service would track which cell tower your phone was logged into, giving you a rough idea of where the phone was at; not GPS at all, really.
